Jeep® has marked a significant milestone in its automotive journey with the production of the 100,000th Jeep Avenger at its Tychy plant. This landmark vehicle, an e-Hybrid model, underscores Jeep’s dedication to innovation and sustainability while celebrating the success of a vehicle that has captivated the European market.

The Jeep Avenger, honored as the European Car of the Year in 2023, has set new benchmarks in the fiercely competitive B-SUV segment. Combining Jeep’s iconic design with cutting-edge technology, the Avenger has quickly become a favorite among drivers, offering an unparalleled driving experience.

Tomasz Gębka, Director of the Tychy plant, reflects on this achievement: “We are part of the Stellantis team that has joined forces to create and produce the Jeep Avenger—an outstanding vehicle that brings driving pleasure to its passengers. We observe with satisfaction the successes it is achieving, winning numerous awards such as the European Car of the Year 2023, Best Family SUV 2023, and Autobest Best Buy. These accolades are not only a source of pride but also set a high bar for quality. We leverage our extensive experience in producing reliable vehicles to ensure every Avenger that leaves our plant meets our customers’ high expectations, now exceeding 100,000.”

The Jeep Avenger continues to redefine expectations in the B-SUV category with the introduction of its new e-Hybrid model and the anticipated 4xe variant. This reflects Jeep’s commitment to its “Freedom of Choice” philosophy, offering customers a variety of engine options, transmissions, and soon, all-wheel drive capabilities.

The newly introduced Avenger e-Hybrid represents a seamless transition for customers moving towards a fully electric future. It features an advanced 48-Volt hybrid system, providing a driving experience akin to a full-hybrid vehicle. The powertrain includes a 100 HP internal combustion engine and a 21-kW electric motor, integrated into a six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. This setup, complete with a 48-Volt belt-driven starter, ensures a smooth transition to electric drive while significantly reducing CO2 emissions.

Manufactured at Stellantis’ Tychy plant, a facility renowned for its quality and technological advancements, the Avenger benefits from a plant that is integral to Stellantis’ Dare Forward 2030 strategic plan. This plan aims for full carbon neutrality by 2038. The Tychy plant is not only focused on producing electric and hybrid vehicles but also on substantial investments aimed at reducing energy consumption and CO2 emissions. These efforts are part of a broader initiative to achieve complete energy transformation, including the use of green heat produced from biomass to support its production processes.

As Jeep celebrates this milestone, it reaffirms its commitment to innovation and sustainability, paving the way for future advancements in automotive technology and environmental stewardship.
